The Department of Astronomy’s volunteer program offers customized educational sessions using campus facilities or held on-site at your school or community organization. The program is run by graduate students and undergraduates from the Student Astronomical Society, with support from faculty and researchers. (Because of student availability, it may be difficult to schedule during the summer or outside of Ann Arbor, but we do our best!) Topics can be tailored to your time frame and interests, and include demonstrations and hands-on experiences whenever possible.
