About
I am a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Michigan. My research focuses on dynamical modeling of all types of galaxies to determine their underlying mass profiles (including stars, black holes, and dark matter) and internal structures. Over the past few years, I have developed novel numerical techniques for the dynamical modeling of barred galaxies and successfully applied them to IFU observations.
I am currently using observations from the JWST IFU to measure black hole masses in compact stellar systems within the Virgo Cluster. In addition, I am utilizing the TIMER-MUSE survey to investigate the dynamical relationship between the bar and the dark matter halo.
