A close working relationship with an advisor can help a student get the most out of their courses, experiences and educational opportunities while at the university.
Recognizing this, LSA has established three annual awards that focus upon individual advisors selected by faculty, staff, and students as being among the very best. Nominations are reviewed by a selection committee comprised of the advising directors from the Comprehensive Studies Program (CSP), Honors Program, Newnan LSA Academic Advising Center, and Residential College (RC), as well as an LSA undergraduate student and previous award winners. Recommendations are forwarded to the LSA Executive Committee for final approval.
