As the Sociology Academic Program Manager, Jill oversees curriculum planning (grad & undergrad), as well as the full range of student affairs for the department. She also manages the funding process for graduate students in the department. Jill's previous work at UM includes over 5 years of academic advising in the LSA Newnan Advising Center, and active involvement in the ACUM (Advising Council at the University of Michigan). Her professional background includes time at the University of Vermont, where she worked in Career Services, Student Health Services, New Student Orientation, Student Leadership Development, and Residential Life. When she's not working, you'll find Jill watching women's sports, hanging with extended family, or planning a trip with her wife. She's also a volunteer chef for Lasagna Love.
