Whether you give a little or you give a lot, we have a place where your contribution will make a real difference. Our students are still the leaders and best, and we want to continue to provide the necessary resources that can help prepare them to achieve success during their time at Michigan.
Would you consider contributing to a fund to help students participate in experiential opportunities with NGOs and volunteer with non-for-profit entities? Perhaps you would rather support faculty cutting-edge research on complex entities or theoretical breakthroughs. Did you feel it was difficult to balance studies and family? We could use your help to provide more financial support to students who are less fortunate or whose funding was cut due to state funding cuts.
The Department benefits enormously from the generosity of University graduates, their parents, and other friends of Michigan Sociology. Annual giving provides significant funds for student and faculty research. We take great pride in the Department's distinctive endowments, which enable us to sustain undergraduate and graduate programs on par with the finest private institutions
No gift to the Department is too small, and each one contributes to maintaining the standard of excellence that is the Michigan Difference. We thank each one of you - both for those who have already given and those who are considering doing so. For more information on giving, please see below.
