Cheyenne Garcia

Cheyenne is a PhD student examining the association between being emotionally close to a grandparent in childhood and socioemotional outcomes (e.g., mental health symptoms, self-esteem, self-efficacy, and stress) in adulthood. She is interested in exploring how multi-method research (i.e., observations, interviews, and surveys) can be community-centered and influence policymaking.
