Psychology and International Studies undergraduate student Hannah Feng was selected as one of the inaugural recipients of the new Obama-Chesky Voyager Scholarship. According to the Obama Foundation, the scholarship “is a two-year program for students in their junior and senior years of college from across the United States who are committed to pursuing careers that serve the public and their communities.” Students receive up to $50,000 in financial aid, travel funding, and other assistance for their current and future academic endeavors. Feng, who has worked with Professors Thad Polk and Felix Warneken, explains that she “plan[s] to focus on increasing Asian communities’ access to mental health care while reducing stigma. [She] also plan[s] to conduct cross-cultural research about how neurodivergence may manifest differently in non-Western cultures.”
