Graduate Students Awarded the Student Diversity Research Award With Two Honorable Mention
Two graduate student winners:
Andrea Belgrade, for her research on “Antecedents and Outcomes of Bicultural Identity Integration.”
Omari Keeles, for his research on “Privileged Protection: The Relationship Between Social Class, Perceived Ethnic Threat, Psychological Distress, and Psychological Well-Being of Black Students at Selective PWIs.”
Two graduate students received Honorable Mention:
Kayla Fike, for her research on "Understanding Contextual and Cultural Factors Associated with Prosocial Development for African American Youth and Adults."
Amanda Rodriguez-Newhall, for her research on "The Race and Ethnicity Requirement: Efficacy and Attitude Change."
Awardees were recognized at the Psychology Diversity Research Symposium on April 13, 2017.
