Assistant Professor Luke Hyde, Igor Grossmann, a recent graduate of the Social program, and Kristine Molinam a Personality & Social Contexts graduate, have been named a Rising Star by APS.

Grossman presents groundbreaking research on the study of wisdom and seminal research in cultural psychology.

Hyde researches mechanisms linking early risk to adolescent antisocial behavior, interactions between risk factors; subgrouping approaches to identify youth with similar developmental trajectories.

Molina's research focuses on stress, resilience and health, and elucidating the ways in which discrimination-based stress relates to health in Latinos.

The Rising Star designation recognizes outstanding psychological scientists in the earliest stages of their research career post-PhD whose innovative work has already advanced the field and signals great potential for their continued contributions.
