Sari van Anders Recognized as a 2016 Emerging Leader for Women in Psychology
On Saturday, August 6, 2016 CWP chair Dr. Earlise Ward presented the 2016 CWP Leadership Awards during the Society for the Psychology of Women awards ceremony at the American Psychological Association annual convention in Denver, Colorado. Dr. Sari van Anders was recognized as an emerging leader for women in psychology for her exceptional and groundbreaking scholarship that bridges the fields of feminist, personality, and biological psychologies.

Dr. van Anders is a rising star in the field of neuroendocrinology and her interdisciplinary research has contributed to understanding the interaction between gender, sexual behavior, and hormones. She has successfully obtained funding for her research, served on the editorial board for two journals, and is a member of sixteen professional organizations.
