The Society for the Psychology of Women (APA Division 35) awarded Lilia Cortina with the 2024 Bonnie R. Strickland and Jessica Henderson Daniel Award for Distinguished Mentoring. According to APA, this award "recognizes the feminist mentoring of the award winner and honors Bonnie R. Strickland and Jessica Henderson Daniel for their distinguished mentoring." Cortina will receive a plaque presented at the Division 35 Award Ceremony at the APA’s Annual Convention.
