Dr. Jen Cummings has received The Amy L. and Kirk L. Wolfe Prize which comes from an endowment that supports outstanding UM Psychology faculty that teach and mentor undergraduate students who are majoring in brain and neuroscience. As quoted in the nomination letter, "[Dr. Cummings] is an exemplary instructor in the Psychology Department and her engaged teaching style encompasses the traits we value in our most dedicated and successful teachers. Dr. Cummings exhibits a respect for her students, an enthusiasm and passion for disseminating information, as well as the ability to effectively engage her students in the pursuit of knowledge. In addition to her excellence in the classroom, Dr. Cummings’ service as a role model and mentor to her students goes well beyond the expectations we place on our faculty."
