Germine Awad was awarded the American Arab, Middle Eastern, and North African Psychological Association (AMENA-Psy) Distinguished Contribution to Psychological Scholarship Award. According to AMENA-Psy, this award will be granted to a member who, "has made significant contribution to psychological research relevant for [Arab, Middle Eastern, and North African] populations in North America."
