Ben won for his 2013 paper in Science that showed that hearing territorial vocalizations (reflecting heightened population density) influenced maternal stress hormones in female squirrels and led to offspring that grew significantly faster and had higher fitness than normal. He will receive a plaque at the Business Meeting of Div. 6 at this year's APA Annual Convention.
