Dr. Elisa Trucco wins 2015 Gordis Award at the Research Society on Alcoholism
Each year the Research Society on Alcoholism presents the Enoch Gordis Award to one postdoctoral fellow based on originality and quality of research, significance to the field, quality of abstract, and presentation of the work at the meeting as a poster and talk. This year Elisa Trucco, Ph.D. a post-doctoral fellow in the Substance Abuse Program was awarded this honor, competing against 5 other finalists. Her presentation was: Temperament and Externalizing Behavior Mediate Genetic Effects on Adolescent Alcohol, Cigarette, and Marijuana Use (coauthors Brian Hicks, Joel Nigg, Margit Burmeister, and RZ). Congratulations to Dr. Trucco on this special honor.
