Each year the Graduate School recognizes the efforts and talents of Graduate Student Instructors whose dedication to developing course content and classroom activity is truly outstanding on our campus. Similarly, Rackham honors the mentoring abilities and involvement of faculty through three different mentoring awards. The winners selected this year from a total of 73 nominations.
Rackham Graduate School established the Outstanding Graduate Student Instructor Awards to recognize the efforts and accomplishments of Graduate Student Instructors (GSIs) who demonstrate a passion for sharing their knowledge and experience. These young scholars and researchers combine innovative scholarship and research with superb teaching and mentoring. They recognize the humanity of their students as they maintain rigorous intellectual standards and model professional integrity.
