Annalee Miner, a recent Department of Psychology graduate, has received a Fulbright U.S. Student Program award to serve as an English Teaching Assistant for the 2026 –27 academic year.

Miner graduated this past December, earning a Bachelor of Arts with distinction in Psychology and a minor in Gender and Health. She has cultivated a strong foundation in both clinical and community-based work, volunteering as a birth doula at Michigan Medicine and serving as an undergraduate clinical intern at the Mary A. Rackham Institute. This past summer, she conducted research under Dr. Jessica Riggs in the Department of Psychiatry’s Zero to Thrive program, focusing on attachment-based community interventions for postpartum individuals.

This August, Miner's Fulbright award will take her to Colombia as an English Teaching Assistant, where she will teach at a regional university and volunteer in a family health clinic. Her work is driven by a commitment to culturally responsive care and a dedication to fostering cross-cultural exchange.

Congratulations, Annalee!
