Show your Support

We strive to support the College of Literature, Science, and the Arts on the front lines of learning and research; to steward our planet, our community, our campus. To do this, LSA needs your support.

The LSA DEI 2.0 Strategic Plan outlines initiatives to make LSA a more inclusive, equitable, and collaborative space to learn, teach, work, discover, and thrive together. It supports the college’s commitment to fostering a community where everyone feels welcomed and valued through actionable goals, objectives, and initiatives developed using input from students, staff, and faculty.

Collegiate Fellows

The LSA Collegiate Fellows Program is an innovative faculty recruitment program that selects top scholars with a strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion to enhance the overall intellectual and educational experience for students, staff, and faculty.

Anti-Racism Report

In 2020, the college convened a task force charged with creating a clear statement of vision and goals for anti-racism in LSA that could help catalyze and institutionalize anti-racist policies and practices as central to the college’s mission.

Sexual Harassment Report

LSA launched a working group to develop actionable plans that address sexual harassment in the college. The group produced a report proposing changes to LSA policies and practices to prevent gender harassment and create a more inclusive and respectful environment.

LGBTQ+ Community Report

The college convened a working group to improve climate in LSA from an LGBTQ+ perspective. This group produced an assessment based on lived experience in the college rather than scholarship and included recommendations intended to benefit the entire LSA community.

Resources
