About
Lisa earned her undergraduate degree in English from the College of Charleston (Charleston, SC), where she enjoyed being a participant in the Honors Program. She earned an MA in English Literature from University of Alabama and PhD in English Literature with a concentration on interdisciplinary approaches to the early modern period at the University of Kentucky, where she subsequently enjoyed serving as student advisor, lecturer, and academic administrator in the university’s Honors and Humanities programs. Her research interests include narrative theory, art history, and cultural property management. Lisa’s objective as an advisor is to encourage students to pursue their highest ambitions and interests and to explore ways of connecting their academic pursuits to community engagement opportunities. In her free time, she enjoyes spending time with her family and dogs, reading, visiting museums and galleries, and running.
