About
Genni Driker is a Ukrainian-Jewish immigrant with a lifelong interest in how literature helps us understand the world around us. Her research focuses on utilizing literature to analyze early 20th century Eastern European Jewish cultural identity, the roles of satire and speculative fiction as mediums for social commentary in the beginning and end of the Soviet era, and modern works of speculative fiction as a tool for connecting to one’s own Eastern European identity.
