The International Institute, along with its 16 centers and programs, supports K-16 teachers and educators in Michigan and throughout the U.S. in integrating global perspectives into their classrooms and engaging with current international issues. Through professional development, curriculum resources, and access to university materials, educators can enhance their teaching and connect with a network of peers.
These programs also foster collaboration between the University of Michigan’s National Resource Centers (NRCs) and educators, creating opportunities to partner with minority-serving institutions, exchange ideas with faculty and graduate students, and share research. Educators can also contribute by leading presentations and workshops.
