Robin Martz (MPH/MSW ’03), currently stationed in Kyiv with the U.S. State Department, will share her experience living and working in Ukraine during Russia’s full-scale invasion. She will be joined by two Ukrainian health professionals leading a U.S. government–funded physical rehabilitation project. Together, they will discuss the state of Ukraine’s health system under the strain of war, their collaborative efforts to strengthen rehabilitation for all Ukrainians, including for the growing number of injured veterans, and the partnership with the University of Michigan to help strengthen Ukraine’s rehabilitation workforce.
