Professor of Psychology, Women’s and Gender Studies, and Afroamerican and African Studies Elizabeth R. Cole has been honored with a lifetime achievement award from the Association for Psychological Science (APS).
The APS James S. Jackson Lifetime Achievement Award for Transformative Scholarship honors scholars for their “lifetime of outstanding psychological research that advances understanding of historically disadvantaged racial and ethnic groups,” as well as “the understanding of the psychological and societal benefits of racial/ethnic diversity, equity, and inclusion.”
In their announcement, APS shares that Professor Cole is “a leading voice on intersectionality within the field of psychology.”
