Changing Gears Peer Facilitator
About
Shaylynn is a rising senior majoring in Sociology with a focus in Law, Justice, and Social Change. She will be graduating in Winter 2020. Shay transferred from the Dearborn campus her sophomore year through HAIL scholars, and has been thriving since she has been here.
Shay applied to be a peer facilitator because she loves the idea of being able to guide incoming and transfer students, as I was guided by her Peer Facilitator. Her goal is to teach every lesson the best way that she can, lend an ear when needed, and learn from her peers.
"When I’m not studying or working, I’m most likely watching Terrace House (thanks Bash and Mom for the recommendation), listening to music, reading, or talking about how I should start working out more often."
