Environmental Sciences Peer Facilitator
About
Pamela is a senior from Princeton, NJ pursuing an environment major and an earth sciences minor. Pam is interested in environmental policy, water issues, and urban planning, especially regarding equity. Outside of class, she is involved with the Sustainable Living Experience (SLE), a first-year community that introduces students to environmental issues and sustainable leadership.
She also likes to volunteer with student organizations like Habitat for Humanity and the Campus Farm. "The work is rewarding because you can see progress by the end of the day, and the work is hands on, so I learn some of basic skills in construction and gardening. I like public service and getting immersed in my community, and I hope to eventually make a career for myself in serving public needs and concerns."
Pam is excited to be a part of the UROP team, because she found it so helpful, and was so proud of what it allowed her to accomplish!
