About
Nick is a senior in the college of engineering studying Biomedical Engineering with a minor in Biochemistry hailing from Dearborn Heights, Michigan. Nick is a part of the Engineering honors college. Nick hopes to pursue an MD or a PhD.
At U of M he been a part of Arabesque, the Arab dance troupe on campus, since his freshman year. This will be the second year he has choreograph dances for the troupe and will be taking up the position of vice president.
Nick does research at the VA Hospital in Ann Arbor. He looks at new fabrications methods for microfluidic artificial lungs. Some of his favorite parts are using the laser cutters, building computer models of the devices and testing them, and watching animal surgeries with the devices.
