About
Michael is a senior in LSA double-majoring in Psychology and Political Science from Romeo, Michigan. Michael started doing research as a freshman in UROP under Dr. Daniel J. Kruger, who he has continued to work under throughout his undergraduate career. Together they have studied a variety of topics, including cell phone dependency, medical marijuana use, and the infamous University of Michigan/Ohio State University rivalry. The studies that they did on this last subject required him to wear an Ohio State sweatshirt out in public, which is something that he is still not particularly proud of. "But hey, if it’s for science, it’s okay, right?"
In his free time he likes to play tennis, play the guitar, and hang out with the great friends that he has made over the past three years at the university. It’s not uncommon to see him on the tennis courts by Palmer Field and he plays in a recreational tennis club. He also play intramural football and soccer and enjoys watching essentially every major sport, and Michael is an avid Detroit Red Wings fan.
After graduation, Michael would like to spend some time working for a 2020 political campaign before pursuing a Ph.D. in Social Psychology. He aspires to become a professor of the subject. "Wherever I end up going to graduate school, I will always be a Michigan Wolverine. Forever Go Blue!"
