Engineering Peer Facilitator
About
Jeremiah is a rising senior studying biomedical engineering and minoring in business and electrical engineering! He has been a part of UROP since freshman year and has developed a love for research. Jeremiah wants to work with medical imaging devices because he finds the ability to be able to take a photo of someone’s body and being able to find all sorts of problems, from broken bones to small cancerous cells, to be mind boggling.
Outside of his academic and professional careers Jeremiah has a lot of hobbies that help to balance his busy life. His favorite pass time is just hanging out with friends and laughing. "After a stressful day, I cannot emphasize how important it is to laugh at yourself and not take anything too seriously." Jeremiah also loves to workout, lift weights, run, hike, swim… basically any physical activity. He grew up being a boy scout so he loves being outside (especially when its warm). However, with that love of the outdoors, comes a deep love for sleep.
"I very excited to spend this last full year with all the friends I’ve made and test I may or may not have failed. Either way, I wouldn’t change anything from my past three years, for they have given me great confidence not only in myself but in the future work force."
