Ceren Ege

This is Ceren's second academic year working as a Peer Facilitator for UROP and she is excited to meet the new students in the Social Sciences program. This year, she will also be working as a Communications Coordinator at the U-M Mentorship program where she was previously a Peer Advisor. The two experiences together have strengthened her beliefs in the power of mentorship and how everyone's experience in life and/or work can help another individual in some way. Ceren is continuing as a counselor for Camp Kesem for her fourth year and look forward to living in the same city with all of her friends for the last year of undergrad. After graduation, she plans to go to law school to pursue a career in criminal or intellectual property law. Ceren volunteers with the Youth Arts Alliance as a poetry workshop facilitator for two sessions and would like to stay active in supporting incarcerated youth and adults. She also a volunteer at the Cancer Support Community of Ann Arbor and The Brides Project. She likes to swim, play frisbee with an Aerobie, and eat scones.
