Please consult with your Academic Advisor and International Student Advisor at your home institution to confirm your CPT/AT eligibility, requirements, and application procedures.
The Engineering summer program is open to current undergraduate students at the University of Michigan who will not graduate before December 2025. Students must be at least 18 years old to participate.
University of Michigan UROP summer research participants are NOT permitted to enroll in Spring-Summer classes at the University of Michigan unless pre-approved by the Director of UROP. Summer research fellows receive paid stipends, and if they enroll in spring-summer classes and receive financial aid, the stipend may negatively impact their financial aid for those terms.
