Birds Library

Since 1930, the Museum of Zoology has been the permanent headquarters of the Wilson Ornithological Society and housed its library. The library is one of the preeminent sources of ornithological literature in North America. The Wilson Ornithological Society is a worldwide organization of ornithologists founded in 1886 and named after the ornithologist and artist Alexander Wilson, the Father of American Ornithology. The Society publishes The Wilson Journal of Ornithology. (Wilsonsociety.org)
