April Conway

I hold a Ph.D. in English with a specialization in Rhetoric & Writing and a Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies Graduate Certificate from Bowling Green State University. I also hold an MFA in poetry from Sarah Lawrence College. I previously taught writing at a community college and high school English and English Language Learning in Tucson, AZ.

My research and teaching interests include community literacies (like zines and zines festivals), writing research methods and methodologies (especially qualitative ones like interviews), collective care and mutual aid, multimodal and composition pedagogy, rhetorics of motherhood, and space and place studies.
