Alexandra Tkacheva graduated from Nazarbayev University (Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan) with a BA in World Languages, Literatures, and Culture in 2019. Her research interests include modern and contemporary periods in Russian literature and culture. As a graduate student, Alexandra applies feminist critique to the works of canonical as well as contemporary Russian authors. When not deconstructing patriarchy, she rides her bike, learns about human mind, or wanders through the local coffee shops.
