I am a Clinical Science Ph.D. student in the Psychoneuroimmunology (PNI) Lab working with Dr. Annelise Madison. Broadly, my research vision lies in how understanding chronic and/or high social stressors impact the mind-body connection. More specifically, I am interested in the role of psychological flexibility in shaping physiological flexibility and the immune system sensitivity, with the goal of understanding mechanisms that contribute to depression and disease risk.My long-term vision is to promote mental health awareness and translate research-based knowledge into culturally informed interventions back in my hometown of Seoul, South Korea!
Faculty Advisors: Annelise Madison and Amie Gordon
