I am a Clinical Science Ph.D. student in the Psychoneuroimmunology (PNI) Lab working with Dr. Annelise Madison. Broadly, my research vision is twofold: (1) mechanistic understanding of how early life adversity and lifetime social stressors shape the immune system to contribute to risk of depression and disease risk, and (2) intervention aimed at increasing psychological flexibility to positively impact the immune system and build resilience. My long-term vision is to promote mental health awareness and translate research-based knowledge back to my hometown of Seoul, South Korea!
Faculty Advisors: Annelise Madison and Amie Gordon
