About
It's commonplace to talk about having a "sense of time." But how the human brain uses timing information to support perception and action is still not fully understood. My research examines how the brain encodes time, how timing mechanisms interact across sensory and motor systems, and how these processes are altered in aging and neurological disorders. By integrating psychophysics, EEG, and motion-tracking, my interdisciplinary work seeks to answer critical questions about auditory-motor timing in speech, hearing, and movement disorders and applies these findings to improve clinical tools for assessment and rehabilitation.
