What has been your career path?
As an undergraduate student at Michigan State, I studied social work and psychology. Through an experiential learning course, I discovered that I enjoyed supporting people in finding the resources that they need to thrive. After moving on to getting my Masters of Social Work at the University of Michigan, I am returning to U-M as an academic advisor to support undergraduate psychology students in tying their interests and values to psychology coursework and achieving their goals.
What do you like to do for fun outside of work?
Outside of work, I love to spend time with my friends and with my cat, Meemow. I love attending live music with my boyfriend, going out for dinner with friends, and having a chill night at home watching movies. I also love making crafts; I am currently working on creating a mosaic tabletop for my porch!
