The Coombs Scholarship was established in 1990 in memory of Professor Clyde Hamilton Coombs and is presented to students with joint interests in mathematics and psychology. The award is to help defray expenses for such items as books, travel to professional meetings, and research costs not otherwise covered by fellowships.
