The STAR (Scholarship, Transferable Skills, Academia, and Reasearch) Scholars Program was awarded the Claudia Joan Alexander Trailblazer Award, which is "awarded to an individual or team for the development or implementation of a program, innovation, or intervention... that supports success for all students in STEM at U-M." This award is part of the annual Willie Hobbs Moore awards established by the the University of Michigan Women in Science and Engineering office.
The STAR team is made up of the following members: Dianna Alvarado, Harini Babu, Hannah Becker, Jessica Bezek, Julie Catanzarite, Ana Patricia Esqueda, Blake Glatley, Keion Harris, Cindy Lustig, Jennifer Murray, Lillian Nguyen, Neema Prakash, Kali Sarver, and Tong Suo. Congratulations, everyone!
