Minor Distribution Requirements

Common Requirements for All Philosophy Minors

A minimum of 15 credits of Philosophy, at least 9 of which (including the required 400-level course) must be taken in residence.

No course will count toward the academic minor unless the student receives a grade of C- or better.

Any 100- or 200- level course other than PHIL 180 (Introdcutory Logic), 183 (Critical Reasoning), 201 (Introduction to Logic), 288 (Ancient Philosophy), 289 (Descartes to Kant) or 296 (Honors Introduction to Logic).
At least one course other than Formal Methods (413, 414) must be at the 400-level.
