About
Mica is currenlty completing his dissertation, Affective Morality, under the direction of Sarah Buss, Peter Railton, and Brian Weatherson. His research charts a path though moral philosophy, moral psychology, the philosophy of mind and action, and epistemology. Much of Mica's current work concerns the nature and normativity of moral experience. He is particularly interested in the significance of our affective attitudes for what we owe others and for how we change our minds about moral matters.
Mica has served as an instructor for courses in ethics, bioethics, formal methods, and the philosophy of artificial intelligence. He has served as Graduate Representative to the Philosophy Faculty, Undergraduate Outreach Coordinator, COMPASS Mentor, Ethics Bowl Coach and Judge, and Spring Colloquium Organizer.
