About
Caroline holds a B.A. in philosophy and religious studies from Northwestern University and an M.A. in systematic theology from Union Theological Seminary. She works primarily, though not exclusively, in normative ethical theory. Caroline is interested in the ethical import of personhood and the nature of our obligations with respect to our own agency and that of others, particularly in the context of personal relationships. She also dabbles in metaethics, practical reason, logic, feminist philosophy, philosophy of religion, and Kant's ethics. Caroline was a mathlete in a former life, and she is an avid traveler, fantasy reader, theatregoer, music lover, and ballet enthusiast. She has a weakness for extra dark chocolate.
