Sarah Buss, Professor of Philosophy at the University of Michigan, has been awarded a 2020 Guggenheim Fellowship by the John Simon Guggenheim Foundation.  The prestigious fellowships are awarded annually to writers, scholars, artists, and scientists who demonstrate "prior achievement and exceptional promise."

The Guggenheim Foundation selected 175 Fellows this year, from more than 3,000 candidates in the United States and Canada.  Professor Buss is one of three University of Michigan faculty members to win a Guggenheim Fellowship in 2020.
