C. H. Langford Collegiate Professor of Philosophy, James Joyce, has been elected a fellow of American Academy of Arts & Sciences (AAAS)!
The Academy is committed to multidisciplinary, nonpartisan research that engages experts in various fields and professions to provide pragmatic solutions for complex challenges. While their work is overseen by five program areas, the Academy often undertakes projects that do not fit neatly into a single category and occasionally convenes exploratory meetings. No matter the topic, the Academy emphasizes the need for interdisciplinary study that draws on expertise from many fields of research and professional practice.
James Joyce was chosen as one of seven fellows for the Philosophy section. Please join us in congratulating Professor Joyce for this well deserved honor!
