In Winter 2018, Dr. Gordon Belot will be teaching two fun courses: Knowledge & Reality, which will be full of weird and wild philosophical thought experiments that teach deep lessons about epistemology and metaphysics, and Philosophy of Quantum Mechanics, which will be dedicated to the really weird stuff.

Dr. Belot is also working on a book project. A century ago, Einstein published a momentous paper, "Cosmological Considerations in the General Theory of Relativity," in which he founded a new scientific field - relativistic cosmology. Dr. Belot's project is to produce a philosophical commentary on Einstein's paper, investigating both the history of Einstein's thought at a pivotal moment and certain foundational questions about general relativity and cosmology that are very much alive today.
