Shai Madjar has been awarded Philosophy’s Elsa L. Haller Term Prize for Fall 2011. Haller Term Prizes are awarded to undergraduate students for outstanding overall performance in a 400-level Philosophy course. Winners are selected by the Philosophy Undergraduate Studies Committee on the basis of final grades and recommendations from instructors of 400-level courses. Winners receive a monetary award of $250. Shai is being recognized for his work in Professor Peter Railton’s PHIL 430 course, “Topics in Ethics: Agency, Emotion, and Value”, and PHIL 482 "Philosophy of Mind", with Matt Evans.
