Do I need to have prior research experience to be in MRADS?

What’s the difference between MRADS and UROP? Can I participate in both?

MRADS has a close partnership with the Undergraduate Research Opportunity Program (UROP). This means that all MRADS students are considered a part of the UROP community and program. MRADS students are required to live together, enroll in ALA 104: Introduction to Research, and attend biweekly Wednesday night events. UROP students do not live together and take bi-weekly research seminars on Tuesdays hosted by upperclassmen peer facilitators. Students interested in doing research are encouraged to apply to both programs, but ultimately can only participate in one during their first year.

Do I have to be in LSA to apply to MRADS?

Do students live in Mosher Jordan Hall for their first year or first two years?

Can I be in the Honors program and also MRADS?

Are transfer students eligible to be in MRADS?

If am accepted to MRADS but want to defer my admission to the University, can I also defer my spot in MRADS?
