About
Brandon grew up very close to Ann Arbor in Ypsilanti, Michigan, and has been a Wolverine since the day he was born. At just three months old, Brandon was diagnosed with stage three Neuroblastoma found on his spine and lived most of the first year of his life at Mott Children’s Hospital receiving treatment.
After beating cancer, Brandon would grow to become a devoted sports enthusiast, which led him to receive his bachelor's degree in Sport Management with a focus on Sport Sociology from the University of Minnesota. From there, Brandon would return to Ann Arbor to earn his master's from the University of Michigan concentrating in Sociology, then receiving a position with the NBA’s Minnesota Timberwolves.
Now, as a member of the HSSP staff, Brandon is thrilled to be working alongside some of the best and brightest students at the University of Michigan to assist them as they begin their own journeys here.
Along with being an avid bookworm, from Fanon to Baldwin, Brandon also loves writing poetry and listening to the likes of Lauryn Hill, Nas, and Snoh Aalegra from his vinyl collection.
