What is a health issue that you are really passionate about, and why?
A healthcare issue I'm really passionate about is increasing medical literacy for the general public. Many people have limited knowledge about their health, medications, the data healthcare providers collect, and the treatments they provide. It's important that people understand these things so they can better advocate for themselves, so EMS and subsequent healthcare providers make more informed treatment decisions, and for proper informed consent.
