What is a health issue that you are really passionate about, and why?

I am passionate about improving maternal health, especially for Black women who face significantly higher risks during pregnancy and childbirth. Growing up in Nigeria, I witnessed how poor healthcare systems endanger lives, and I’ve seen similar disparities in the U.S., despite its advanced medical resources. Black women are more likely to experience complications and often aren't given the care or attention they deserve. These outcomes are worsened by systemic bias and a lack of education within the healthcare system. As a healthcare advocate, I want to help restore trust and ensure that all women, regardless of race or background, receive respectful and equitable maternal care.

What is a show that you've watched, a book you've read, or music you've enjoyed recently?

Recently, I’ve really enjoyed watching Love Island. I love the drama, unexpected twists, and the way the show keeps you guessing with every episode. It’s the perfect mix of entertainment and suspense, and it's always fun to see how the relationships evolve
