What is a health issue that you are really passionate about, and why?

I am adamant about calling out and addressing disparities in healthcare, particularly concerning patients and doctors with disabilities. I identify with a physical disability, so I have to constantly learn how to navigate the healthcare system and everyday life. Every person’s symptoms and stories are unique, yet their cases are not always given the proper respect and consideration in care. It both saddens and angers me to know how doctors openly deny or prefer not to see patients with disabilities. In addition, residents and doctors can be asked to waive their use of an accommodation school and practice. These truths are simply unacceptable, and I encourage everyone to advocate for increased accessibility and equity for those with disabilities.

What is a show that you've watched, a book you've read, or music you've enjoyed recently?

My favorite genre of music is pop, especially indie and jazz-pop. I love listening to any songs by Lyn Lapid- her entire EP To Love in the 21st Century is sooo good. My favorite song from tlit21c is ~The Alternative~. I also listen to Sabrina Carpenter, Conan Gray, Laufey, and Fuji Kaze a lot <3.
